Zizou could make Real comeback

France legend Zinedine Zidane revealed that he could take up a technical post at Real Madrid if prospected chairman Florentino Perez took charge this summer.

Perez is strongly tipped to win the upcoming presidential elections, which could instigate Zizou's return to the Bernabeu.

"If Perez is elected, I am willing to do anything to help Real Madrid. There are many issues that need to be resolved," Zidane told Europe 1.

Ex-Real chairman Perez signed Zidane from Juventus for a record fee of €73million in 2001.

Ribery over Ronaldo

Zidane sung praises of compatriot Franck Ribery as he admitted that he prefers the Bayern Munich ace to 2008 World Player of the Year Cristiano Ronaldo.

Ironically, both players were linked with Real in recent months.

"Cristiano [Ronaldo] is a great player, of course, because he was chosen for the Golden Ball and could achieve it again this year," Zizou added.

"He is a formidable player, but if you ask me who I prefer, it is very clear; [Franck] Ribery."
