Ismaili chairman Nasr Aboul-Hassan said that the club won't try to persuade Mohamed Fadl of staying with the team anymore.

The striker's contract with the Dervishes will expire in weeks, and Aboul-Hassan has been trying for months to convince him of signing a new contract.

"We have offered him the highest deal we can afford and that's the best we can do," Aboul-Hassan told FilGoal.com.

"Ismaili have a strict financial policy based on our resources. We can't exceed it for the sake of any player."

It is reported that Fadl demanded a yearly wage of EGP 2 million.

"Our highest paid player Omar Gamal earns 1.3 million. We offered Fadl the same and we won't top that," Aboul-Hassan added.
