Masri board decided to offload thirteen first team players, in preparations for signing a host of new faces ahead of the coming season.

The board's decision came upon the recommendation of the club's technical staff, which is headed by Hungarian coach Bertalan Bicskei.

Ihab Al-Mahs, Razak Pimpong, Tamer Adel, Ahmed Al-Mala, Islam Al-Nagari, Haytham Mohamed, Samir Al-Tamimi, Ahmed Galal, Mohamed Hafez, Mohamed Fahim, and Mohamed Al-Hadidi will all be leaving Masri in the off-season.

Additionally, Rami Adel will be leaving the club and return to Ahli after ending his loan spell at Port-Said.

Ghanaian midfielder Akwetey Mensah already left the club to join SK Lierse in Belgium.

Bicskei has asked the Masri board to bring in no less than ten new players for the coming season, including a keeper, a centre-back and a playmaker.

Masri ended the Egyptian Premier League in eighth spot.
