The former Egyptian international joined the White Knights last summer on a four-year deal, but failed to settle down and fell out with Ahmed Refaat, who was appointed as interim boss in the first half of the season.
Abdul-Aziz sealed a six-month loan move to Konyaspor in January, and his next step is yet to be determined.
"I might return to Zamalek, but first I need to make sure that the club no longer suffer from managerial problems, so as I don't go through another fruitless spell," he told FilGoal.com.
"Mamdouh Abbas reinstatement in the presidency seat doesn't necessarily mean I will go back. The several months I spent at Zamalek were horrible, so I will think twice before making my decision."
Abdul-Aziz had proclaimed his support for Abbas ahead of the Zamalek presidential elections that saw the wealthy businessman get re-elected as president.
The former Trabzonspor midfielder also revealed that he had received several overseas offers, saying he could accept one of them.
"Several foreign clubs are interested in my services, including Turkish top-flight sides. But I haven't made up my mind yet," he said.
