Mohamed Abou-Treika scored the only goal of the game, after which he went to the byline to celebrate with Egypt's benchwarmers.

However, Amr Zaki and Ahmed Eid Abdul-Malek collided when they both jumped to hug Abou-Treika. Zaki needed a few stitches after the incident and had to be taken-off.
