Wolfsburg new coach Armin Veh wants to add a new striker in the close season despite having two prolific frontmen in Grafite and Edin Dzeko.

Brazilian Grafite and Bosnian Dzeko scored 54 goals between them to help their side win their first ever league title.

Petric, who is a Wolfsburg target according to Kicker, put in some impressive displays in the recently-ended season.

The 28-year-old, who joined Hamburg from Borussia Dortmund last summer, netted 20 goals in all competitions last season as his side finish fifth in the Bundesliga.

They also reached the semi-finals of the German Cup and the UEFA Cup.
