The Corinthians defender has cemented his place on the Selecao's left flank after some impressive displays in the ongoing Confederations Cup.

"Roma are interested in him," agent Mario Grimaldi was quoted by Italian media.

"They asked for information about him, but they are not the only ones. The player’s transfer fee is relatively low as he could be signed for just £5m."

Santos, 26, made his debut in the 4-3 win over Egypt last week, when he replaced Kleber in the second half of the Group B thriller.
