The 30-year-old finished last season as the league's top scorer with 28 goals, helping his club win their first ever Bundesliga title in the process.

Grafite says that his and other fellow countrymen's success can set the path for more Brazilians to make their mark in Germany.

"Brazilian players have been rated highly by German clubs for a few years now, and that's down to the success of players like Elber, Lucio and Ze Roberto," Grafite told fifa.com.

"Those players left a legacy of professionalism. European teams often worry that Brazilians will misbehave off the pitch, but I think that us guys set a good example.

"Sometimes people at the club say to me that I must be half-German because I'm always reliable and on time! That's how it has to be," the ex-Sao Paolo man added.

Grafite has already scored 39 times for Wolfsburg since joining the club from French Ligue 1 side Le Mans in 2007.
