An Ahli official told FilGoal.com that coach Hossam Al-Badri contacted the guardian regarding a possible transfer to the Cairo giants.

The official added that Ahli will announce the final outcome of their talks with the 36-year-old within the next 48 hours.

Conflict History

Al-Hadari left Ahli for Swiss club FC Sion in February 2008 without the formers' consent, a transfer that triggered the board's feelings against the ex-Ahli skipper.

He later said that he regretted the move and expressed a wish to return to Ahli, but his statements were always met by deaf ears from the board.

After complaining the player to FIFA, Ahli previously confirmed that the player was suspended for four months starting next August before Al-Hadari appealed the decision.
