Bob Bradley's team lost twice and conceded six goals in their first two games, before beating Egypt 3-0 and reaching the semis to stun the world and knock Spain off.

"USA will be tough. In order to beat Spain, you have to have ability and you have to have merit and the USA showed they had those things and more," Dunga says.

Brazil already thrashed USA 3-0 in the group stage in a game the Selecao scored twice within the first 15 minutes.

"The group stages game was one thing, Sunday will be different. It will be a game requiring patience, but we will be looking to score early."

USA and Everton keeper Tim Howard is not faze

"We have shown that when we come together and do our best, we can do great things," Howard stresses.

"We may not be the biggest or best-known players in the world, but when we come together it's not about that.

"In the first game against Brazil, we gave them too much respect and sat back too much. It's important to start the final with a lot of energy and not sit back and let Brazil control the match."

Bradley's team will be without the coach's son Michael, who is banned after getting sent off against Spain.

Substitutes Benny Feilhaber, who played big part coming on from the bench in previous game, is expected to fill in for Bradley.

Brazil enter the clash with a full squad. However, full-back Daniel Alves could take Douglas Maicon's place after the former came on to score a late winner against South Africa in the semi-final.
