After spending last season on loan at Wigan Athletic in the English Premier League, Zaki is now likely to stay at Zamalek next season.

Despite expressing a desire to stay in Europe, the 26-year-old is yet to receive any offers from clubs willing to keep him on the Old Continent.

On the other hand, Zamalek's newly-signed midfielder Ibrahim Ayew attended his team's training session on Monday, although he hasn't reached full recovery yet.

The Ghanaian player had a knee cartilage problem of late, and underwent surgery as a result.

Ayew, who's expected to be ready for action in less than a fortnight, watched his teammates from the sidelines in an attempt to get accustomed to the new environment.
