The Egyptian champions are set to take part of a four-team tournament in Bochum, featuring Bayer Leverkusen, Galatasaray and Wydad Casablanca.

"We will play against some tough teams, but results are not important in such a trip," Al-Badri told Ahli TV.

"In pre-season, we are just looking to achieve good harmony between players, test our new signings, especially the young ones."

Meanwhile, Egypt duo Ahmed Fathi and Ahmed Hassan are expected to join the Reds squad by the end of the week after returning from South Africa.
