Milito, who scored 24 Serie A goals last season to steer Genoa to the Europa League, was targeted by Inter since last month.

The 30-year-old penned a four-year contract at San Siro, but no details of the transfer fee were revealed.

Inter are also set to land Genoa midfielder Thiago Motta, whereas Hernan Crespo and Robert Acquafresca have both moved the other direction.

Another striker on the verge of joining the Italian champions is Twente's Marko Arnautovic.
