"The reason why this channel will be launched is to reply to the incessant criticism and accusations," FA president Zaher stated.

"This channel will enable the FA to deny the baseless rumors that some media men circulate every now and then."

The Egyptian national team were recently panned after South African tabloids alleged some Egyptian players hired prostitutes midway through the Pharaohs' FIFA Confederations Cup campaign.

Head coach Hassan Shehata and some players categorically denied the allegation, which eventually turned out to be fake.
