The former Ismaili man was given two weeks off after he picked up a knee injury while playing for Egypt in the FIFA Confederations Cup last month.

Fathi is set to undergo initial tests which will determine how long he will need to reach full fitness and resume his team's trainings.

Ahli's Germany camp will include taking part in a friendly tournament alongside Bayer Leverkusen, Galatasaray and Wydad Casablanca.

The Red Devils will also participate in another pre-season tournament in London between July 24th and 26th, where the club will face Barcelona and Glasgow Celtic.
