Muscular hitman Agogo joined the White Knights on a three-year deal during current president Mamdouh Abbas' first tenure last summer.

The 29-year-old was involved in a myriad of problems with the boardroom, and thus ended his deal prematurely.

Agogo was frequently accused of being undisciplined and irresponsible, while he was hitting back at the Zamalek's officials in return.

Ayew, who moved to Zamalek from Eleven Wise on a five-year deal, is convinced that his stint at Zamalek will be fruitful.

"I don't think about it because Agogo is Agogo and am Rahim and we are two different people," he told Ghanasoccernet.com.

"I don't think about what happening to Agogo because when was here he was under a different management and I am also under a different board.

"Am now recovering but their fans are crazy about me because they saw me during the CHAN and when they found out I was a moslem, they all appreciate me and am cool here in Egypt.

"The football will talk for me. I don’t have to talk a lot and issues on the pitch will do more for me."
