Viol and Juventus reached an agreement worth £21 million over Melo's transfer to the Old Lady and it appears the Brazilian has all but moved to Turin.

The Florence faithful showed their frustration at the 26-year-old's transfer by drawing a giant graffiti in the city saying 'Melo to Juve = No season tickets'.

Melo caught Juventus' eyes after his solid displays for Fiorentina this season, as well as playing a major part in Brazil's FIFA Confederations Cup triumph.

The former Flamengo and Real Mallorca man joined Cesare Prandelli's team from Almeria in the Primera Liga before the start of last season.
