The White Knights played four friendly games during the camp, where they lost 3-0 to Sochaux, beat Shakhtar Donetsk, drew with Neuchatel Xamax before losing 7-1 to FC Brasov of Romania.

"The camp gave us an opportunity to face a number of clubs representing different styles of European football," Youssef told Zamalek's official website.

"We are not concerned with the results, and for us it's enough that we beat UEFA Cup champions Shakhtar."

The ex-Zamalek midfielder added that the Switzerland gathering was a good chance for coach Michel Decastel to point out his players' points of strengths and weaknesses.
