Al-Qaeyi said that the 24-year-old signed a three-year-contract with Ahli on Monday.

It is yet to be known how much Ahli payed the Scottish Premier League side will be paid for Benjelloun's services or what will be the player's wage at Ahli.

Benjelloun will be the third foreign player in Ahli's squad list for next season alongside Gilberto and newly-signed Liberian striker Francis Doe Forkey.

Ahli are planning to keep Algerian playmaker Amir Sayoud and loan him out during the upcoming season.
