Former Ahli and Zamalek midfielder Mohamed Abdullah has officially signed a two-year contract with Ittihad, the club's president Mohamed Moselhi said.

Moselhi added that Abdullah will receive EGP500 thousand during his first season and 550 thousand in his second year at the club.

The ex-Dervishes man insisted to have a clause in his contract allowing him to leave the club for $120 thousand in case he receives any foreign offers.

Meanwhile, the Alexandria club drew 1-1 with Asyut Petroleum in the pre-season friendly held on Monday.

The game witnessed the dismissal of Osama Hassan, who received two yellow cards for dissent in the space of 15 minutes.

Coach Taha Basri criticised Hassan following the game for his unprofessionalism.
