Egypt goalkeeper Essam Al-Hadari was dismissed during Ismaili's 2-1 friendly win over Gaish on Tuesday.
The 36-year-old, who recently joined the Dervishes from Swiss club FC Sion, took part in the game straight after the interval.
However, he was shown straight red midway through the half after a harsh tackle on Gaish hitman Mikael Dodzi Dogbe inside the box.
After conceding a first-half strike courtesy of Gaish's Talaat Moharam, Ismaili came back to win the game through goals from Mohamed Mohsen Abou-Greisha and Ahmed Samir Farag.
Ismaili coach Nebojsa Vuckovic deployed a 4-4-2 formation in the game which witnessed the shining of youngsters Ali Gabr and Amr Al-Solaya.
