Mohamed Zidan scored in the dying seconds as Borussia Dortmund secured a 3-1 victory over fourth-division club Weiden on Saturday to reach the German Cup second round.
Newly-signed striker Lucas Barrios scored on his competitive debut to give Dortmund the lead after 24 minutes.
Nuri Sahin doubled Dortmund's advantage one minute after the restart but Weiden midfielder Alberto Mendez pulled one back in the 78th minute.
Egypt striker Zidan ensured his side's victory in the stoppage time after a fine individual effort.
He latched onto a through pass, eluded a challenger and rounded the keeper before slotting into an empty net.
The in-form Zidan, who excelled in Egypt's Confederations Cup campaign, scored two goals for Dortmund in their pre-season friendlies.
