Zamalek striker Amr Zaki is fit enough to play for his team against ENPPI in the first round of the Egyptian Premier League on Friday.

Zaki took full part in Tuesday's training with the rest of his teammates, and club physiotherapist Mostafa Al-Monayeri confirmed that the 26-year-old can play on Friday.

The former ENPPI hitman was forced to sit out Monday's training session due to a muscle strain.

The game will be Zaki's first league clash for Zamalek since he was loaned out to Wigan Athletic in the English Premiership last season.

In the meantime, the White Knights' technical staff agreed to promote under 20 goalkeeper Sherif Fawzi to the first team.

The youngster took part in trainings alongside guardians Mohamed Abdul-Monsef, Abdul-Wahed Al-Sayed and Emad Al-Sayed.
