Ismaili will have Essam Al-Hadari available for the Egyptian Premier League opener against Mansoura on Thursday after receiving the keeper's international clearance.
The Egypt guardian joined Ismaili in the close season from Swiss side Sion for a fee of €600,000.
The Dervishes were worried that they could miss him against newly-promoted side Mansoura but he has now been given the all-clear to play.
Al-Hadari, 36, will wear the number 19 kit.
Meanwhile, skipper Mohamed Hommos will miss the game with a leg injury.
However, Ismaili have received the international clearance for Tunisian striker Mohamed Selliti.
Left-back Ahmed Abou-Mosallam is the only new arrival who is yet to become eligible to play.
