Both clubs have reportedly agreed a €19million fee for a five-year deal that will see the Dutch midfielder move to San Siro this summer.

Sneijder fell down the pecking order at Bernabeu last season, and his chances of playing regularly have become more negligible since the arrival of Portugal ace Cristiano Ronaldo at Real.

But Sneijder said on many occasions that he has no intention of leaving the Spanish giants, saying he's ready to fight for a regular spot.

The 25-year-old will be guaranteed a berth in Jose Mourinho's starting eleven should the deal go through.

The Portuguese boss has been looking for an attacking midfielder to deploy behind strike duo Samuel Eto'o and Diego Milito.
