The Chipolopolo have to get a positive result in Algeria in order to keep their World Cup hopes alive, following a 2-0 home defeat in the reverse fixture in June.

Renard, who helped Zambia pull off a famous draw in Egypt last March, is looking to cause another upset in Blida on Sunday.

"If we play like we did against Egypt with commitment and dedication we can't rule out winning when we play Algeria," the Frenchman told Post Zambia.

"Since qualification for the World Cup will be in the back of everyone's mind when we play in Blida, I'm confident we will get a good result."

Egypt, who face Rwanda on Saturday, will be hoping to see Group C rivals Algeria stumble before the North African neighbors clash in November.
