Argentinean striker Lucas Barrios scored the winner seven minutes before the break with a superb low shot on the turn.

Zidan partnered Barrios upfront before being replaced two minutes past the hour mark.

The Egyptian striker, who scored just once in the Bundesliga so far this season, had two chances to improve his goal scoring tally.

Midway through the first half, he collected a pass inside the area before firing a left-footed shot over the bar. Another shot, this time a low one, went just wide of the post on 60 minutes.

Dortmund, who secured their second win in eight games, are 12th in the league table with nine points.
