Chelsea went two points clear on top after defeating an off-form Liverpool side 2-0 at Stamford Bridge on Sunday in the Premier League, thanks to Didier Drogba's deft assists.
The Ivory Coast hitman whipped in a precise cross from the right wing to enable Nicolas Anelka to tuck home from point-blank on the hour mark.
Another accurate left-flank cross from Drogba was diverted into the net by Florent Malouda in injury time.
Now Chelsea are once again at the top of the Premiership table with 21 points, while Liverpool lie fifth with 15.
