Even though Rabah Saadane's team are odds-on to see off Amavubi, it’s a question of how many goals will Algeria score to stay on course of reaching the World Cup.

"The match with Rwanda is like an explosive. The opposition have nothing to lose and will give their best to shock us," Algeria boss Saadane said.

"We shouldn’t forget that we will play Rwanda after learning the result of the other game and I am worried this could affect our players.

"But I made sure the players are ready to face the situation. We have to focus on mental aspects before anything at this stage."

The cautioned bunch includes Madjid Bougherra, Nadir Belhadj, Karim Ziani, Karim Matmour, Abdelkader Ghezal, Rafik Djebbour and others.

Apart from that, Algeria will be without suspended captain Yazid Mansouri.
