The U-20 Egypt star is set to take part in the senior team's training starting Saturday, with the potential to secure a promotion in the near future.

Bougi is aware that standing out amid a good number of skillful strikers won't be a doddle; however, he believes that he can prove his worth and become a regular first teamer.

"It won't be easy at all, but I have what it takes to convince the coach (Henri Michel) with my capabilities," he told FilGoal.com.

Michel already have five hitmen at his disposal in Mido, Amr Zaki, Sherif Ashraf, Sayed Mosaad and Ahmed Gaafar.

"All the current first-team strikers were at Zamalek when I first joined the youth team, and my objective has always been to get promoted," Bougi added.

The 20-year-old put in spectacular performances during the U-20 World Cup, which Egypt were ousted from by Cost Rica in the round of 16.
