Zamalek midfielder Rahim Ayew has been named in Ghana's squad for the final World Cup qualifier with Mali on November 15th.

Ghana boss Milovan Rajevac, who already guided the team to South Africa 2010, has also called up a number of uncapped players for the home tie.

Ayew, the son of Ghana's great Abedi Pele, started the season on the sidelines under former Zamalek manager Michel Decastel.

But he found his way into the starting line-up after Zamalek signed French coach Henri Micehl.

Ayew scored for Zamalek in their last league game, helping his side beat Military Production 3-2.

Six players from the U-20 team who were crowned world champions in Egypt last month were named in the squad.

Promising striker Dominic Adiyiah and talented playmaker Andre Ayew lead the list, along with Samuel Inkoom, Daniel Addo, Agyemang Badu and goalkeeper Daniel Adjei.
