Italy goalie Gianluigi Buffon recalled his international debut after completing a century of matches with the Azzurri on Saturday.
The talented keeper marked his 100th cap upon featuring in Saturday's goalless draw with Holland in an exhibition game.
Buffon, 31, made his Italy debut in 1997 when he was called up for a World Cup playoff game against Russia and was introduced as a substitute.
"I must say I would've aspired for an easier debut!" the Juventus custodian was quoted by Fooball Italia as saying.
"We were in a World Cup playoff, plus the weather did not help us.
"I had said it was the one game I wouldn't want to play in and I had to!"
