"I've talked with (coach) Leonardo but not with (chief executive Adriano) Galliani," Gattuso told reporters.

"There will be a time and a place to speak. I’m honest and when I'm unhappy I tell them."

The tough-tackling midfielder, who is suffering from a niggling injury, played just once this season in a Champions League game.

Reports said big-spending Manchester City were interested in signing Gattuso when the transfer window reopens in January.

Manchester United and Chelsea are also believed to be keeping tabs on the 31-year-old.
