Mohamed Zidan has ended a 10-match goal drought after finding the net in Borussia Dortmund's thrashing 4-0 home victory over Nurnberg in the Bundesliga on Saturday.

The Egypt striker, who last scored a league goal in Dortmund's 1-1 draw with Eintracht Frankfurt in August, was included in the starting line up to partner Argentinean Lucas Barrios upfront.

He added Dortmund's third goal against Nurnberg after Kevin Grosskreutz and Barrios gave them a 2-0 lead within the first 13 minutes.

Zidan's right-footed shot on the rebound rounded off a neatly-worked counter attack to increase the hosts' advantage nine minutes before the break.

Defender Mats Hummels completed the rout two minutes past the hour mark.

Dortmund, who extended their unbeaten run to eight games, moved up to seventh place with 24 points.
