Barcelona defender Gerard Pique says his side are eager to end the year of 2009 in the best possible way by adding the FIFA Club World Cup trophy to their cabinet.

For more than one season, the former Manchester United defender has been integral part of Barca, who claimed maximum number of titles under Pep Guardiola after he took the helm at the club in the summer of 2008.

Pique's impressive form and consistency earned him a place in the Spanish national squad, and now he's looking for more success with the Catalans.

"We are always under pressure to win," the 22-year-old told EFE.

"Everyone wants to win this tournament. It will finish a fantastic year.

"It would be a big blow not to win. It is a new experience for me and many other players.

"It is a very important tournament."

Barcelona are facing Atlante on December 16th in the Club World Cup semi-final round, and they are considered to be favorites for the competition title.
