All options will be on Zamalek's agenda if the Egyptian FA do not replay their league game with Harras Hodoud, board member Hazem Emam said on Friday.

The Cairo club have filed a complaint with the EFA after Hodoud fielded an ineligible player during their meeting earlier this month.

Hodoud defeated Zamalek 2-1 earlier this month but suspended forward Ahmed Eid took part in the game after being given the green light by the EFA's competitions committee.

Eid shouldn't have participated in the game after he was shown a straight red card in Hodoud's 2-0 defeat to Arab Contractors last month.

That red card should have resulted in a two-game suspension but he sat out just one match, played against Zamalek and scored to help Hodoud claim all three points.

"We are ready to do anything if the EFA turn down our request," Emam told Al-Hayat TV.

"Hodoud are not to blame for the conflict, they did nothing wrong because the EFA told them Eid was free to participate in the game. A replay will be a fair decision."

"It will be a serious problem if they did not grant us our rights," the Zamalek icon, who retired from professional football in the summer of 2008, added.

The White Knights said earlier in the day they would do their utmost to preserve the rights of the club and its fans.

EFA board member Ayman Younes threatened to hand in his resignation if the decision did not go in Zamalek's favor.

The Egyptian governing body did not reveal a date to make a final decision over the saga which has been grabbing headlines for several weeks.
