Former Inter boss Mancini took over at Eastlands this month after the sudden sacking of Mark Hughes.
Colombian veteran Cordoba and Brazilian full-back Maicon have been both linked with big-spending City of late.
The 33-year-old assured that he could end his ten-year spell at Giuseppe Meazza to work again with Mancini.
"If Roberto wants me at Manchester City I would seriously think about it," Cordoba is quoted as saying by the Sunday People.
"He is a great coach who always varies his training sessions. I worked with him at Inter and I am convinced that he will have great success in the Premier League."
Cordoba was integral part of Inter's squad that won the Serie A titles three times under Mancini between 2006 and 2008.
When Jose Mourinho took the helm at Inter, Cordoba kept his regular place thanks to the absence of injury-plagued duo Lucio and Walter Samuel.
