However, the Ismaili skipper refused to express any dissatisfaction over his omission.

"It's all up to the technical staff, and I respect their point of view," Hommos told FilGoal.com.

"I don't like to comment on Shehata's decisions."

Hommos made his name on the international stage when he hit the winner in Egypt's historic 1-0 win over Italy in the FIFA Confederations Cup.
