The 26-year-old's contract with the German giants will expire in the summer of 2011 and he is yet to agree a new deal.

"Why not," Bild quoted Ribery as saying when he was asked about the possibility of extending his stay at Bayern.

"It's me who will decide. We'll sit around the table and come up with a solution, but whatever happens it has to be settled before the World Cup."

Ribery has been linked with a host of clubs over the past 12 months, including Spanish giants Real Madrid.

He made few appearances with Bayern this season due to niggling injury problems.
