Salah stepped down from his role as head coach after having several disagreements with Mansoura's board over possible winter signings and the team's stoppage-period training camp.

Teima, who was once in charge of Ghazl Mahalla, has all but taken the helm at the promoted side, and he will work with the current backroom boys.

"I have reached an agreement with the club's board, only minute details are yet to be worked out," he told FilGoal.com.

From his side, Mansoura chairman Ibrahim Megahed said: "Teima will lead the team in the second half of the season, but there won't be a technical staff reshuffle."

Teima will be looking to lift Mansoura, who lie in penultimate place in the Egyptian Premier League table, away from the relegation zone.
