European duo Stuttgart and Sporting Lisbon want to run the rule over Ahli youngster Afrotto this winter, stated the promising playmaker.

"(Bundesliga side) Stuttgart and (Portuguese giants) Sporting Lisbon have approached me but they are yet to table tangible offers," he told FilGoal.com.

"Both clubs mean business and right now I'm waiting for Ahli's decision."

Swiss pair Grasshopper and FC St. Gallen are also seeking to sign Afrotto in the current transfer window, according to agent Ahmed Sowilem.

The talented midfielder, who was integral part of Egypt U-20 in last year's World Cup, made his name after producing some scintillating displays in the competition.

However, he failed to secure a senior-team berth at Ahli.

Red Devils' boss Hossam Al-Badri promoted young trio Mohamed Talaat, Ahmed Shokri and Shehab Ahmed to first-teamers this term but snubbed Afrotto.

First Team

Although he missed out on a first-team place, the 20-year-old says Al-Badri is keen on keeping his services.

"The coach told me that he wanted me within Ahli's ranks," Afrotto revealed.

"I would love to play for Ahli's first team before moving abroad. I absolutely admire this club even before playing professional football.

"I have been dreaming for six years of playing alongside (veteran schemer) Mohamed Abou-Treika, but joining a foreign club is important too."
