Ahli outcast Amir Sayoud is targeted by Kuwaiti and Tunisian clubs, according to football director Hadi Khashaba.

Khashaba said on Ahli's website that the Algerian midfielder will be back to training on Monday, when the club will discuss his future.

Kuwaiti media said that Al-Arabi club is interested in signing Sayoud on a six-month loan deal for $90,000.

Khashaba didn't name the interested Tunisian clubs.

Sayoud joined Ahli in June and featured in a couple of friendly games, earning praise from Ahli fans who dubbed him "the new Abou-Treika."

But the 20-year-old fell out of favor because of the recent tension between Egypt and his native country Algeria.

As emotions ran high in Cairo, Ahli fans demanded the 'deportation' of Sayoud and the player was quoted as saying in Algerian press that he received death threats.
