"I wish we could keep making our nation delighted."

When asked about Egypt's final opposition, Shehata said: "Ghana are a strong side like the rest of the teams we faced during our campaign."

Egypt set a new record upon winning the CAN title for the third time on the trot. They also extended their overall record to seven.

Furthermore, Hassan Shehata's side extended their unprecedented CAN unbeaten streak to 19 matches.
