Regular guardian Abdul-Wahed Al-Sayed and his replacement Mohamed Abdul-Monsef are unlikely to make Zamalek's squad for the Egyptian Premier League clash due to injuries.

Abdul-Wahed was injured whilst on international duty with Egypt, who face England in a friendly game on Wednesday, while Abdul-Monsef is yet to recover from a calf complaint.

"I'm sad that both of them are injured but I'm eager to grasp this chance with both hands," Emad Al-Sayed told FilGoal.com on Wednesday.

"Coach Hossam Hassan told me that I have a big chance of playing against Petrojet.

"I have been waiting for this opportunity for a long time and I will do my best to make the most of it."

The 23-year-old took part in Zamalek's 1-1 friendly draw with Mansoura on Tuesday.

The Cairo giants will be looking to revive their hopes of competing for the league title when they play second-placed Petrojet in a rescheduled game.

A win would help them close the gap on leaders and arch-rivals Ahli to seven points.
