The Bianconeri are expected to sign Kuranyi on a free transfer as his contract with Germany side Schalke expires at the end of the season, Sky Italia and Tuttosport said.

The 28-year-old poured cold water on the reports linking him with Juve, who are enduring a barren run.

"I have a contract with Schalke. Those talks are just speculations," he told German tabloid Bild.

Kuranyi, who joined Schalke from Stuttgart in 2005, has scored 12 goals in the Bundesliga so far this season, one behind top scorer Stefan Kiessling of Bayer Leverkusen.
