The 23-year-old, who came through Zamalek's youth ranks, has been reluctant to extend his stay with the White Knights because he's aiming to join a European club.

Meanwhile, several reports suggested that Zamalek's arch-rivals Ahli had approached him over a possible summer deal.

But up-and-coming defender Ghanem reiterated his intention of moving abroad.

"I haven't been in contact with Ahli as reported," he told FilGoal.com. "My only objective is to move abroad."

Ghanem is believed to be eyed by an unnamed French Ligue 1 club.

"I will reveal the French club's name once they have tabled a solid offer for me," Ghanem, whose contract with Zamalek runs out in the summer, added.
