The petroleum club, who threw away their lead to lose against league leaders Ahli, were infuriated after having two goals disallowed for offside.

Television replays showed that the goals should have been stood.

ENPPI filed a complaint against Othman, demanded the match be replayed and threatened to withdraw from the league if the Egyptian FA did not take an action.

They suddenly softened their stance though.

"We will not purse our complaint," ENPPI chairman Maged Nagati said on the club's official website on Saturday.

"Football critics and pundits have fairly assessed the referee's performance during the match and they agreed that we deserved to win.

"This was enough for us, we felt that we completely gained our rights."

ENPPI lie 11th in the 20-team league table with 29 points from 23 matches.
