The Bundesliga club said that Germany midfielder Kehl will be out for several weeks with a groin injury sustained in the 2-1 win over Werder Bremen.

What's more, Argentine forward Barrios, Mohamed Zidan's usual strike partner, limped off training on Tuesday and could well miss the weekend's action.

Dortmund face Zidan's former club Mainz at the weekend as they aim to push into the top three.

Zidan was also injured during the Bremen game but the Egypt forward was able to train with the team.
