Egypt defender Moatassem Salem will be leaving Ismaili to either Ahli or Zamalek only for the sake of his son.
The 29-year-old center-half, who is targeted by Cairo's top duo, revealed a personal reason behind his recent transfer request as he intends to move to the capital.
"I never thought about leaving Ismaili, but this time it is out of my hands," Salem told FilGoal.com.
"I have to move to Cairo for the sake of my son. It is a personal issue.
"I served the club for seven years and I hope the board would accept my request. I am sure the team can cover my absence."
Salem, who was part of Egypt's African Cup of Nations winning-squad, has been a key player for Ismaili throughout the past few seasons.
The well-built defender has a contract until 2013 with the Dervishes.
