Zamalek's Ali set for league comeback

Alaa Ali is set to make his Egyptian Premier League comeback as he was named in Zamalek's squad for their penultimate match this season against Asyut Petroleum.

The White Knights' midfielder was serving a three-match suspension for his misconduct while playing against Police Union.

The squad also includes youngsters Mohamed Refai and Mohamed Ibrahim. The duo could well make their first-team debut in Thursday's game.

Goalie Abdul-Wahed Al-Sayed was ruled out of the game through automatic suspension after collecting his third yellow card.

Want-out keeper Mohamed Abdul-Monsef is set stand between the sticks.

Zamalek, who lie second with 51 points, are seeking to finish the season as runners-up. They have two matches to go.

Zamalek's squad:

Goalkeepers: Mohamed Abdul-Monsef, Emad Al-Sayed.

Defenders: Mahmoud Fathallah, Amr Adel, Ahmed Magdi, Amr Al-Safti, Hani Saied, Sabri Rahil, Mohamed Abdul-Shafi, Omar Gaber.

Midfielders: Ahmed Abdul-Raouf, Ibrahim Salah, Hassan Mostafa, Mohamed Refai, Mohamed Ibrahim, Hossam Arafat, Hussein Yasser, Alaa Ali, Remy Adiko.

Strikers: Shikabala, Ahmed Gafaar, Sherif Ashraf.
